2008-09 School Calendar

Luther Center generally follows the South Kitsap School District calendar, including the emergency-operating schedule.

Our school will not be mentioned on the closure list but will follow whatever closure schedule the South Kitsap elementaries use.

School Closed. If South Kitsap School District elementaries are closed, we are too.

Late Start. If South Kitsap School District elementaries have a late start, we will too. Note that the South Kitsap School District has a regularly schedule late start each Wednesday. Luther Center does not have a regularly scheduled late start on Wednesdays and begins each day at 8:15 a.m.

Early Dismissals. If impending adverse weather or other emergency conditions cause an early dismissal, we will never dismiss students until parents are informed. We will only release students when parent approved transportation has been made. If parents cannot be reached, children will remain at school until parents are contacted for arrangements.
