Philosophy
Luther Center for Learning is a growing school with a goal of becoming an excellent K-12 coeducational day school. We strive to educate the whole person: integrating the development of body, mind and spirit in a community of academic excellence within a Christ-centered environment.
Students are encouraged to reach their full potential intellectually, spiritually, physically and socially in the tradition of Lutheran education.
We strive to build community through
- life-long learning,
- enthusiasm for learning, and a
- focus on community service.
Luther Center for Learning joins together with the family and community to build developmental assets in children--the factors in young people's lives that make them more likely to grow up healthy, caring and responsible.
Parent involvement with their child's learning and the school is an essential part of the Luther Center for Learning program.
Luther Center for Learning makes use of a flexible learning environment, including
- individualized instruction,
- access to technology,
- distance learning opportunities, and
- multi-media resources.
All of this we do in order that we may nurture the mental, physical, and spiritual growth of our students to prepare them for higher education, meaningful careers and fulfilled servant-oriented lives. |
